"Istanbul" Turkish Restaurant - Turkish restaurant in Tashkent, Uzbekistan
The sittning area is cozy, food was tasteless but ok. However this place is not worth a visit!! They did not have what was on the menu, extremely expensive for what you get, plus they add 20% service charges. Would not recommend.
The worst place ever! My family and I had a dinner there, at the end ordered dessert, baklava. While eating it, I noticed something hard, spat it out, it was either white and black stone or a rotten human tooth! Called the waiter, he took it away, came back, said it was a tooth and perhaps it is my own tooth !!!!! Unbelievable! I had to show my teeth, that I have all healthy teeth, jeez!!!! Then he said, shall I replace baklava with another one???? Seriously? The manager came, said it is Uzbek chef fault. So? They took away the cost of baklava, but left their 20percent charge, I refused to pay service charge, as I was vomiting at this time. They ran after me and demanded me to pay it, of course I didnt. Never eat there!
They have good Turkish tea
The portions are very little. For the same price you can eat much more in other restaurants nearby!
Nice place, delicious food
All ok
The worst place in Tashkent. Never recommend anyone!
Very good Turkish food with friendly and helpfull staff.
Very very good and super
Worst experience in #TashkentSo bad service level including dirty plates & glasses
We visited the restaurant during the Ramadan period. They want to charge for Ramadan fasting fruits whereas others give you (at least some datesas service. We ordered Iskander and it was not delicious enough. Not even close to the original.Staff were just OK. Cuz it was so crowded they hardly paid attention to the service quality. After tea Noone came and ask if we needed anything else more.Yes, we had a nice dinner, talking only cuz of friendship, the place hasnt added so much value.
Top!
Very good service and food! Clean and served authentic turkish food and other types of soups and pastas as well. Delicious choice of desserts including pumpkin and quince fruit desserts
Ah finally I find some best restaurant in Tashkent.I love this restaurant because the taste, color the environment is best.Enjoy your dinner here. This restaurant is expansive.
Authentic turkey food in tashkent.Service is also great.
It was hard to place order as waiter unable to speak and understand English
Authentic turkey food in tashkent.Service is also great
The food no taste it and was expensive. Dont even get me started on how rude the head waiter was because he was rude and was blackmailing us. Extremely bad experience
The experience was awful from start to finish. One we sat down, we ordered table water with a jug and they gave us bottled water and we asked again once we finish water for a jug of water but they again gave us bottled water. The food did not taste good at all because the meat and kebabs were blunt and tasteless with no spices or sauces. Once it came to the bill they argued with us and as well as other customers over service charge. They said minimum service charge is 5% and maximum is 20%, bearing in mind we ordered over half million worth of food for two people, but they were fixed on charging us as well as other 4 customers the maximum service charge. We and other customers still didn’t want to pay that much and at the end of all of it they blackmailed us that if we don’t pay the service charge, the waiters will pay it.
Nice place for dine in, good environment
Did lunch here, too much pricey stuff, rude and uncooperative staff, poor quality, pathetic and smelly food. Totally unsatisfactory food and service. I will not recommend it to anyone.
Visited this restaurant. Rude and uncooperative staff, poor quality, pathetic and smelly food, ordered lamb BBQ along with turkish bread, smelly and hard BBQ they served, unable to chew it, bread seems like baked almost a week ago, I highlighted this issue to their staff, they continued arguing that lamb is fresh and bread we baked a minute ago, we always serve the same way. Totally unsatisfactory food and service. I will not recommend it to anyone.
Meal is ok, but service leaves to be much desired
Delicious foods 🥙
Real Turkish restaurant,but some expensive
To be honest i was surprised. Nowhere in Tashkent i tasted such a fresh, soft and brilliantly baked meat. 5/5 guys. Keep moovingP.S. Baklava deserves another chapter
Even one start too much for this place!!! Ordered lentil soup test was discussing same time waiter brought lamb chops even worse oily and hard escape this place.
Worst Turkish restaurant in central Asia. Awful meals, no service and expensive illogically.
Delicious and expensive
Its the best in Tashkent. The waiters and waitreses are great. Food is just lovely and the atmo is good. Became a regular customer
Orders hummus, yogurt with garlic and cooked eggplant, homemade bread and chicken in yellow curry. All excellent and very tasty
I tried starter Mastova and it was full of bones -:((
Very clean and tasty foods , special Turkish dishes with cozy ambient, Price wise quite costly.
The worst "restraunt" Ive ever been... If you want to have problems with your stomach welcome to this restraunt.
I like this place especially for Turkish kebabs. Service is very good, kebabs are usually good but kozu tandur served today was prepared from suboptimal quality meat full of joints and etc. Otherwise strong 4-5*
Very nice food and a very friendly stuff. Looking forward to our next visit.
So far
Food was okay
Nice location, goot atmosphere, had smaller lunch here, which was good.
Testless food.Location, interior and exterior 5* but food is really testless.Having such a potential and waste it... I dont like such a thing
Gr8 food but no one understands english
Good food and nice place.
Amazing restaurant with English speaking staff.
Nice food and good atmosphere.
Excellent place
With the colourful umbrellas shade, you cant miss out this meat based Turkish restaurant. Thanks to the big windows, the whole seating area is very bright and open. The food is decent with reasonable prices. The hot hummus was surprisingly delicious. Generous portion and good for sharing.
Good place , with hookah available , turkish meals for affordable prices
Total rip off! A bottle of water costs 17,000 soums! Awfully expensive and portions are tiny! Will never come back here. Waiter was terribly inexperienced. Half of the items from the menu that we wanted were not available!
Nice food
A little bit too expensive comparing with neighbour places. But on the other hand pricing keeps the place calm.
